Cookie notice
In effect from: 21.06.2026 · Last updated: 21.06.2026
In brief: Migotona.com uses localStorage (not cookies) to keep your shopping cart. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics 4 statistics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to understand how the store is used — without consent they are not set, and you can change your choice at any time. We do not use advertising cookies. The Montonio payment process uses its own necessary session cookies to process payments securely.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. They allow the website to remember your actions and preferences. Cookies can be classified as functional, statistical and marketing cookies.
2. What Migotona uses
| Technology | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
migotona_cart | Storing shopping cart contents between sessions (products, quantities, configuration) | localStorage (not a cookie) | Until the cart is cleared |
| Montonio session cookie | Secure payment process — used only during payment on the Montonio page/component | Necessary cookie (third party: Montonio) | Session cookie (deleted at the end of the session) |
| Cloudflare cookies | Security filtering, DDoS protection (_cf_bm, cf_clearance) | Necessary/security cookie (Cloudflare) | 30 min – 1 year |
_ga, _ga_G0VNQS991B | Google Analytics 4 — visitor and session statistics (anonymous usage measurement). Set only with your consent. | Statistics cookie (third party: Google) — requires consent | _ga: 2 years · _ga_*: 2 years |
3. What we do NOT use
- Advertising and remarketing cookies (Google Analytics data is NOT used for advertising — Google Signals and advertising features are switched off)
- The Meta (Facebook) Pixel or any other advertising-platform pixels
- Social media login (Google, Facebook, etc.)
- Tracking of user behaviour by third parties
- Personalised advertisements
4. localStorage and the shopping cart
The shopping cart is stored in your browser's localStorage. This means the data stays on your device and is not sent to the server until you place an order. localStorage data is not a cookie and is not automatically transmitted to the server with every request.
To clear the cart, go to your browser settings → Privacy → Clear site data, or use incognito/private browsing mode.
5. Third-party services
Montonio (payments)
We use the Montonio service to process payments. During the payment flow, Montonio's own cookies/session data may be active. Montonio's privacy policy: montonio.com/privacy-policy.
Cloudflare (web hosting and security)
The website is served by the Cloudflare Pages platform. Cloudflare may set necessary cookies for its security functions (e.g. _cf_bm). These are necessary cookies whose purpose is to protect your security and ours, and they require consent only in exceptional cases. Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Google Analytics 4 (web statistics)
With your consent, we use the Google Analytics 4 service (Google Ireland Limited) to understand anonymously how visitors use the store (pages visited, session duration, approximate location, device type). Google Consent Mode v2 is implemented — analytics cookies are not set before consent, and advertising data is disabled by default. To opt out, use the cookie banner, the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer, or the Google opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Managing cookies
To set statistics cookies (Google Analytics), we ask for your consent in the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can choose "Accept" (allow statistics cookies) or "Only necessary" (no statistics cookies are set). Necessary cookies (payment process, security) are legally permitted without consent (the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR Art 6(1)(f)). You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the page footer.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings:
Blocking cookies does not prevent you from browsing the Migotona store, but it may affect the functioning of the payment process.
